Police have arrested two Greeks on suspicion of attacking a migrant from Cameroon and setting fire to his coffee bar in the central neighbourhood of Agios Panteleimonas in Athens. The two greeks, both 34 years old, were appearing before a prosecutor later Thursday, on charges of arson, making threats and discrimination based on race.
Press representative of Police mentioned that after a search of the suspects’ homes revealed “slogans and symbols of Golden Dawn” on the bedroom cupboard of one of the suspects. One officer said the slogan “Blood, honour, Golden Dawn” was among the slogans. The neonazi party of Golden Dawn has frequently been accused for violent attacks against immigrants.
