The tension among left-wings and neonazis continues across the country. The same day with the nazi provocations in Meligalas and only a little after the physical attack to the members of the communist party, the neonazis continued with the same tactic. At a commemoration held on Saturday in the northern town of Giannitsa to remember the 120 townspeople executed by German Nazi occupation forces and local collaborationists/fascists on 14 September 1944, left-wing groups initiated to stop a Golden Dawn MP to laid a wreath at a memorial to the victims.
As dozens of police held back the protesters, one of the guards of the MP, Antonis Gregos, lifted his arm in a Nazi salute as he walked away from the monument. Check the picture below as well as a video here
