The leader of Greece’s Golden Dawn party Nikos Michaloliakos and the MPs Ilias Kasidiaris, Ilias Panagiotaros, Giannis Lagos, Giorgos Germenis and the local leader of golden dawn in Nikaia (Athens district) have been arrested in a crackdown on the group launched after the murder of the antifascist Pavlos Fyssas. Besides the neonazi leader and mps, police officers are also arrested for their involvement with the organization. Golden Dawn has called on its supporters to rally outside the police headquarters in Athens and has vowed to fight back. It is the first time since 1974 that members of the parliament have been arrested.
